Mold Damage – Telluride Home

Mold Damage at this Telluride home developed between the walls due to water leakage from a pipe in the wall. The moisture from the leak caused dormant mold spores to develop into a full blown mold colony along the interior of this wall. We first constructed a containment area so mold spores would not be dispersed throughout the house while we cleaned up the mold. Then we cut away the lower portion of the drywall because it was so badly damaged and to provide access to drying the entire affected area within the walls. We set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process.
