Montrose Mold Problems in a Crawlspace

Our SERVPRO of Montrose / Telluride applied microbial remediation technicians answered the call to a failed mold cleanup. The homeowner had already invested $10,000 to remediate the mold infestation but to no avail. The heavy duty vapor barrier was placed over the entire soil covered area of the crawlspace. This partial encapsulation did not cover the blocks or piers. We fogged the whole interior space with an antifungal agent to exterminate the remaining fungi and most of the spores, dormant and active. We offered to install a stationary dehumidifier to help maintain an RH that would not promote mold growth.
